Actually, Hercules was otherwise occupied and said Boss-Ma'am was the best choice to clean up the swamp. His second choice was B-83.

Well, change of command parade is over, and the protesters blocking the gate got cleared in triple time.
The CSP commander announced that anyone who got apprehended was getting a warrant check.
Apparently, this caused 80% of the protesters to clear out
20AF and assigned units looked sharp on parade--everyone put in that last bit of extra effort to wish Boss-Ma'am farewell and good hunting in DC.
Can you confirm or deny the condolence cards on her being sentenced to Gomorrah-on-Potomac for her many and grievous sins?
Can confirm.
Said grievous sins include competence, a sound moral compass, and an inability to tolerate dumbassery.
Some people are going to get some extremely rude awakenings.

The Commandant of the Corps is eagerly awaiting the inevitable fireworks…

That's why the Marine Barricks ordered two metric tons of popcorn.

Nope, beer.
Having all their drill sergeants in the recording studio is thirsty work.

ICS proscribes jargon and recommends plain English. Drill sergeants are much more understandable than drill instructors.

From the local Marine Reserve Center:
The XO of the center got busted for DUI late last night.
The CO got notified, and he told the duty officer to make sure the XO got notified that he was in jail, preferably at zero dark thirty this morning.

The Commandant just facepalmed at this saying “Why me, Oh Lord?”

Don't see why, people getting DUIs are something that happens. Officers are supposed to adapt, improvise, and overcome. The CO made sure the needed elements of the chain of command were timely notified of the idiocy.

He’s had enough shenanigans to deal with this week to last him until Thanksgiving…

Dealing with shenanigans is his job. I'm not sure this would reach his level.

I'd say that the local chain of command has matters well in hand.

Gents, while the local chain of command has the matter well in hand, it’s that the report reached his desk in the first place, even if it was marked as being for his information and not for any action…

In all fairness, it may have been sent up to him in the well-meaning spirit of “OK, the Old Man has a
lot of bullshit on his plate today, and he probably needs a laugh-break....”
