Prodigal Returns

Post by Luddite »

Hello All,
Things look a bit different here than they used to. Not as many of us around now it seems.... I'm sitting here in this 20 F outside weather, wishing it were spring or summer again, trying to get the gumption to get off my ass and go get some cigars, then do some needed work. In the interim, I've found the board again, and am back.

Well that took a bit of googling. Looking good. Funny story about the Prodigal Son. So, we're in RE, the teacher Rev O'Neill gets called to do something else, so he told us to read the parable of prodigal son while he was gone. He comes back and starts asking us about it. He was getting a bit frustrated and asked if ANY of us had looked up 'prodigal' in the dictionary, and exploded when nobody put their hand up. We all got detention for that. He was a bit firey that one, once threatened to put the whole school in detention because we used to sing Choos instead of Chaos in "Eternal father strong to save".
