Fairly common. More so on a carrier.

Unusual that a fire would cause significant damage. Fires are generally put out pretty quickly.

I get Sal's stuff every day and I very much am on the same page. We have a similar staff background.

The BBG is clearly crowding out the DDGX and CGX programs, both of which we need. We need more ships. The BBGN will drain both other programs and we will

Build Arleigh Burkes until the Crack of Doom

and I'm willing to bet that the BBGN will never make it.
