Tell ya what kind of day I've had.....
....I'm now longing for the peace, quiet, tranquility, and restfulness of a PACAF ORI.

Mate, I’ve just got home at 8pm (luckily to dinner being played up); I’m out all day tomorrow (3hr drive each way) and Friday (a different place but the same distance). I feel your pain!
It’s been a long month already!

Robot: “I have made all your requested changes.”
Me: “Did you change the things I expressly forbade you from changing?”
Robot: “Yes.”
Me: “Why did you change the things I told you not to change?”
Robot: “They’re now more efficient!”
Me: “Are pieces that worked before now working?”
Robot: “No!”
Me: “Did you fix the pieces that were broken?”
Robot: “Also no.”
Me: hauls the robot off to the fan room/bootleg pumpkin spice distillery/place where we keep the emergency war reserve interrogation supplies for wall-to-wall counseling and remedial instruction in “if it ain’t broke, don’t touch it”
I dunno if the damn thing is intelligent, but it sure has managed to pick up the bad habits of sloppy coders and the lazy assholes who used to staff the DMV. (California’s DMV is actually reasonably efficient).

For 45 years I religiously got flu shots. This year I forgot to request it during my check up and when I went to get one they were out. Didn't feel like going to drug stores for it...I got the flu.

I got the flu jab AND I am pretty sure I successfully got flu as well in December.
This year's flu vaccine has been one of those times they've made bad predictions about the virus' evolution and thus it's not been particularly effective.

Flu is one of those things...
Like waiting for parcel courier with 'Too Wide' window, but needing wash-room again...
Do you get vaccination at very start of season, but [REDACTED] Lurgy mutates enough to mug you in March ?
Or delay long enough so immunity peak falls later, but risk getting Flu at very start of Winter ??
'Operational Analysis' suggests getting vaccine ASAP.
Flu in March is bad, but Flu in mid-Winter is much, much worse, may leave you 'debilitated'...
Also hospitals etc are full, full, full in case of 'complications'...
Oh, yes, and as a 'Joker', Flu strain that becomes 'Front Runner' may not be *even near* that predicted.
The Multivalent mix, AKA 'Each-Way Bet' may not suffice...

If you cannot see the wood for the trees, deploy LIDAR.
