So short story is that after the trademark having bounced around between a bunch of owners since the 90’s, a real enthusiast has gotten his hands on it, recruited a bunch of people from the original Commodore team, and have launched the Commodore 64 Ultimate. This is essentially a real Commodore 64 with all the hardware needed to run everything, attach your old peripherals and such, but also new stuff such as HDMI, USB, ethernet, WiFi and so on.
The basic model (beige and looks like the original) sells for $300 and the Starlight edition with a frosted case and light effects in the case/keyboard for $350.
