I collect a lot of research material to bolster / buttress my tales.
Now and again, I hit a problem.
I've several hefty SVG files that I cannot use.
My usual stand-by, 'IrfanView', says 'not supported'.
Plan_B, 'XN-View' fares no better.
Chrome will display them, but not convert. Worse, 'Image Search' refuses them.
I even tried 'Edge' {Spit !!} without success...
There are many 'free' on-line conversion apps but, as yet, none that will 'Play Nice' with my paranoid fire-wall.
Suggestions ??

If you cannot see the wood for the trees, deploy LIDAR.

Give Inkscape a try. It is a free graphics program and uses SVG as its native format.
