Most of the commentators seem to thinks its AI crap.....which is annoying.

....It might be AI, but man oh man, it's GOOD AI.

On the other hand, the Willing Suspension Of Disbelief(TM) needed for this will be incredible. For a one-off movie where nothing really changes, okay - but now they've just stopped the attack on Pearl and have become part of the USN? Made for some great clips there, but it just ain't gonna work.

Just the nukie-poos talking to Enrico Fermi and company about basic reactor school stuff would shave at least a year off of the timeline for production of plutonium, and if they have a copy of the Smyth Report in the ship's library, it's more like two years off of the total timeline for a bomb. Imagine the RAF dumping chaff all the way across Deutschland so a B-24 can deliver a Candygram for Mongo in Berlin...
