He’s done various crazy stunts in the past such as clinging onto the outside of aircraft. I think he may have outdone himself for the new MI movie though, jumped out from a helicopter with his parachute on fire 16 times:

16 times/takes. I think, from the footage, that his backup chute was in the normal ”backpack” location and the burning one was never packed inside it, instead just being tossed out alongside Tom from the chopper.

Was a bit disappointed with the film really.....and the parachute scene did raise a very important question considering what the human bad guy said about parachutes during the scene.
