Very neat, and intriguing. I wouldn’t rule out that it’s something manmade. I’ve always thought it a little bit odd that the societies that built large cities/structures in the Americas seemingly always stayed south of the current USA. It would not be an entirely impossible notion that there may have also at one point been a large prehistoric structure built further to the north.

You're wrong there. Substantial cities existed in the Mississippi valley.

I was more referring to the style of cities where there’s large stone structures such as pyramids and such rather than the more simplistic mound/earthworks style of the Mississippian culture.
