Krista and I were coming from looking at the stars.

"Daddy, why can I only see the stars in winter?"

"Because in summer, the sun's still up at your bedtime, sweetie."

"Why is that?"

I tried to explain how the Earth went around the Sun as we went back inside. In the mudroom, Krista scrunched her eyes as she thought about this.

We went inside.

"Daddy, what makes the world go around?"

I smiled.

My adorable bride, Roberta, yelled from the kitchen, "Joshua Joseph Mantell, you had better NOT answer that!"
