Needed to cut the end-fitting off a lightweight chain.
Not a 'security' or anchor chain, just strong enough to be a leash for lap-dog.
Okay, just need the 8" bolt-cutters from tool tote.

Okay, try in the other tote...

'Plan_B' is the 18" bolt-cutters, which are totally too big to misplace.
In fact, they're parked beside the 24" branch-loppers.
Hard part was getting the flimsy chain aligned with those braw jaws.
Snip !!
Then, on-line to Amazon, to add two 8" bolt-cutters to basket.
They arrive.
I unpack them, put one with the 18" cutters, the other in the tote where original should have been.
And find I've placed it beside the original !!
WTF ?? How did I miss that ???

We used to have a nice pop-up toaster.
Did its job, made no fuss, but Kath and I could eat toast much faster than it could cycle.
So, we got a four-slice Breville.
Size of a deep shopping basket, could even swallow crumpets, baps, whatever.
Also, you could dial the two halves to taste, as Kath preferred 'French' tan while I like mine just shy of smoking.
Trick was to load, start mine first so both came 'done' together.
Eventually, given Kath had passed, I found I simply wasn't using the huge Breville's super-facilities.
So, I decided to return to using the original two-slicer.
I knew we still had it, but a search came up short.
Collected a small, budget toaster during weekly outing to local 'Budget Mall'.
Small, so modest footprint, but only toasted lower ⅔ of a BIG loaf's slice.
No problemo, just need to flip load after first 'down' while getting spread, cheese out of larder fridge.
Then, while looking for a shorter power extension cable, found missing toaster right where I'd searched...
WTF ?? How did I miss that ???

I must be getting old !!

You were the repeated victim of the multi-verse branching off and collapsing the branch onto the main time line. Each time you found something where you previous looked is a symptom of the branching and pruning.
