Well, it took 46 years, but our mercenaries finally beat their mercenaries. (I kid, although it will never replace my extremely vague memories of the miracle on ice.) Sudden death overtime win, (again.) and fantastic goal tending made it count.

Canada squandered like a dozen easy chances at the start, and kind of deserved to lose because of that.
