I just found out about this last weekend and spent the weekend reading it. A fantastic piece going into the leadup, battle, and repercussions of the Battle of Wolf 359. In the post-9/11 world this really hits home as Wolf 359 was the moment everything changed for the Federation and Starfleet. I highly recommend this.

I reread We Have Engaged the Borg before diving into Jayce’s Fighting Ships, profiling the ships that fought the first Borg invasion. I knew the punches that were coming on reread, so some of the raw emotional impact was lessened.l, but there are still moments that, if you’re not fighting between tears and pride, you’re not human.

Much like the Mikeyverse, We Have Engaged the Borg deepens and enriches the canon. It’s definitely worth the investment.
