Ian from Forgotten Weapons have dropped another couple of videos from his Sweden tour, this time visiting CBJ Tech. One video demonstrates the impressive armor piercing capabilities of their 6.5x25mm CBJ round and the other their peculiar SMG/PDW gun the CBJ-MS. I think some of you may find this interesting.

Wow. Irresistible force usually beats immovable object.

CBJ Tech has got some data - ballistics, ballistic gel tests and that kind of thing - on the sabot rounds on their website, the 6.5x22 and .300 Blackout and 7.62x51 variants:

Very intriguing. Makes the US Army shift to 6.8 seem somewhat questionable

Ian mentioned that too in his latest video on that round and rifle.

Yeah a bit like that. Having a rifle in .300 Blackout and using the CBJ sabot ammunition seems preferable when just taking into account performance and reliability. (There’s naturally other aspects as well.)

Also, like Ian notes in the video, CBJ is more of a small design firm than an ammunition/firearms manufacturer, so they want to partner with an ammunition manufacturer to bring their ammunition designs to the market. If anyone knows someone that fits that bill this has the potential to generate some profit, I believe so at least.

I'm fairly sure this has just gotten the attention of more than one ammo manufacturer.
