The brightest and best are clearly at work on the Vanguard class submarines.

A Royal Navy sailor was reportedly arrested over a bomb hoax on a Trident submarine.

The Petty Officer on HMS Vanguard is claimed to have caused a full emergency response after calling in a bomb warning to the 16,000-tonne submarine’s main control room.

His alleged threat, believed to have been a prank, is said to have triggered a lockdown at HMNB Clyde, the navy’s headquarters in Scotland where nuclear-armed submarines are kept.
Isn't it great having such quality people manning the fleet!

Wasn't there an even worse incident a few years ago, a crew member shot and killed an officer. I forget if it was an SSN or an SSBN

Some of your sailors seem to have some difficulty.

Of course, some of ours torch the ships….

Given there are no 'Brig' or equivalent spaces aboard, must hope there's enough duct tape to 'wrap the Xmas Tree' before stuffing miscreant into torpedo tube.
Open door from time to time to replace air.
Close to muffle ranting about Chthonian monsters again whispering in the reactor core...

“Cox’n required Accomodation Space with restraints”.

It happens. Usually the Doc gives them a shot. Submarines are too small and too full of things that can kill everyone to let them run around loose.
