I have been to China in the past and had fun, but I don't think I'm going back.

What a bright idea to hold these in China in the first place.
The west really cant say no to china's wallet on these pretty basic things still.

Lucky i am from the Netherlands, where the re is no censorship when holding the L. Sprague de Camp Awards.

Haven't read much of it, but at least one of the relevant people realised things had gone haywire
Jones said “I would not be willing to participate in any way in the administration of an award under such circumstances again. I don’t think we, as a community, should put our Hugo Award administration teams in this kind of no-win situation. The safety, wellbeing, and freedom of our community members is a whole different kind of consideration.”
