The Dark...

Given the season and our C/H is dead, I've been re-reading the classic Hambly 'Darwath' trilogy.
Brrr...
I reckon #1, 'The Time of the Dark' is almost-perfect. #2, 'The Walls of Air' is really good. IMHO, #3, 'The Armies of Daylight' could easily have been two books, but just about manages to weave multiple interlocking plots and sundry scheming into one (1) tight tale...
Hambly returned to post-Dark situation with 'The Mother of Winter' and 'Ice-Falcon's Quest' --Or vice-versa ??-- which, IMHO, are 'Worthy, But...'
I'm sorta glad Hambly has stood-off any temptation to let eg Netflix molest her 'Darwath' tales, as first stooping 'Dark' would traumatise more viewers than the original 'Jaws'...
