Not bad for covering the details and pointing out how the B-36's large wings gave it the ability to fly so high it was invulnerable to early jet aircraft.

I was surprised to read that, following passionate protests from sundry religious authorities, the USAF / SAC declined to make the 'Peacemaker' tag official.

So, the B-36 remained just 'B-36' through-out its service life, yet known to every-one as the 'Peacemaker'...
