Huh ??

Glanced out of kitchen window as 'Full Moon' caught my eye.
Huh ??
It was really, really big and, yes, sorta-square rather than 'round' ??
Aha !!
Some years ago, exactly the same happened: A too-big, sorta-rectangular Moon, and in the '
wrong' part of sky ?
Took me rather too long to figure that. Did better this time.
Neighbour's big upstairs window near that corner is double glazed, and this evening's chill had shrunk gas, made it a concave, front-surface mirror.
Sorry, by time I'd grabbed camera, cloud cover had concealed this rare illusion of a square Moon.

When I was 10 or so they built a ring road about a mile away. My brother and myself would occasionally discuss the strange circular patches of light that raced across the clouds. Many years later i realise they were car headlights reflected off a sign on the ring road.

Been a strange few days...
Fortnight ago, lost my favourite flip burn-phone, a tiny whatsit, literally only used to call contract cabs...
Like misplaced keys, I reckoned I'd landed it on busy side-table in hall, prior to running up to wash-room, but Wasn't sure, and it was certainly not there a few hours later.
Looked around. No. Had I even brought it into house ? Checked by door. No...
Next 'shop' at budget-mall, I asked my usual stops if...
No.
So rather than cancel its minimal monthly contract, I sent it a text with = $_25 reward.
No.
{ Sigh... }
Fetched spare from box-room, ordered in SIM, got on with life...
Today, reaching for a tarp-clip I'd just knocked off that busy side-table, my fingers closed upon...
Yes, my 'missing' flip-phone, No doubt projected hence by low-flying PolterCat.
Upside, I did not get around to installing / activating spare phone, so that's not an issue.
But, CATS !!!

Cats.
Can disprove the flat earth theory.
They would have pushed every movable object off the edge by now if the world was flat.
