Really interesting paper, thanks. The actual impacts are probably pretty modest: per the map below, it's really about moving productive areas around rather than changing total productivity. It would be very interesting to include the impact of fishing not being allowed within wind farm boundaries to the model - they don't cover this and I have a strong suspicion that the interaction between the two effects might be quite powerful.

For the reduced oxygenation in the Oyster Ground, that's concentrated in a relatively small area of deep water with quite low oxygen concentration anyway. Cause is basically reduced mixing with surface water caused by lower wind speeds - if it turns out to be a major issue then artificially increasing oxygenation or mixing probably isn't all that hard. It's also worth noting that the low oxygen concentration appear to be in an area of greatly increased productivity - which is presumably not a coincidence.
