What makes you think I'm honorable? If needed, I don't have trouble shooting people in the back.
If you were truly dishonorable you’d sick legal counsel on him in a loser pays state ;)
I'm not that dishonorable. :o I go by the Evil Overlord's Guidelines.

Well, Cindy got herself another milestone today: she delivered a baby during morning rush hour in Colorado Springs. Mother and newborn son are doing fine, dad was alternatively stoked that his newborn son is doing just fine and thanking Cindy for being on the ball.

Welcome to the world, kiddo. Hope your life is an E-Ticket ride!

Army won for the second year in a row… and I’m less than pleased about it.

Bummer, d00d.

My wife and I were too busy sampling the wares at a Temecula winery to be overly interested. (They've got some decent wine out here.)

I suggested establishing a winery in Coeur d'Alene when I finally do hang it up, and Roberta had a good laugh. She told me I'm not the type to stroll along rows of vines, occasionally sampling a grape to see if the sugar content is right. She thinks I'm more of the gentleman rancher type; own a ranch mostly because it'd give me an excuse to be on horseback all day--she also thinks I would look dashing on horseback with a cowboy hat.

Ronald Reagan once said, "I've often said there's nothing better for the inside of a man than the outside of a horse." At first glance, this quote may seem simple and straightforward, suggesting that spending time with horses can have a positive impact on our well-being.

He can do both - grow grapes on the good slopes, graze cattle elsewhere, and travel the lot on horseback.

He’d be busier than a one-legged man in an asskicking contest or a one-armed paper hanger…

Roberta's point was that I mostly like DRINKING wine, and I have an intellectual interest in how it's made, but that I would end up being bored to tears actually making it.

Now, riding a horse all day and pretending that it's work, yeah, honestly, I'd be all over that.

Who said you’d be making it? You’d be supervising the making.

Well, today was . . . interesting.

Out in Moreno Valley, just north of the base, somebody carjacked one of March's favorite roach coaches, the Taco Bandit, after wrecking out from a police pursuit.

I noticed it as I was heading to lunch with my wife, and saw a crowd milling around in the SAC HQ parking lot . . . and suddenly realized that there was no Taco Bandit truck, but there was considerable consternation.

So, I came back from lunch . . . to learn from the local ABC affiliate that the Taco Bandit truck had been on the receiving end of a PIT maneuver, had gone into a ditch. So, (a) the collected product pretty much buried the driver, and (b) the truck is almost certainly totaled. The proprietor (inevitably known on March as Bandit Actual) is all right, no injuries, just scared out of his wits.

We passed the hat for Bandit Actual to help him recover from this.

Is there anything that Idiots running from the Police won’t try to jack (besides the obvious)?

I swear to Jeebus, we had a guy in Couer d'Alene carjack a steamroller back in 2002.

At least it wasn't a tank. How would you do a PIT maneuver on a M-1?

Get another M1?

That would be epic...
