I've had a challenging year so am not sorry to see 2022 go.
2023 looks similar though and is more likely to be worse...
At least it is not raining so much now!

Ah 2023......
Maybe this is the year I get enough time and money to finish the Kitchen.
Been a tough 2022 with no proper Kitchen.
But that's what happens when you run out of money in 2021 when the boiler massively failed it's test.
Wishing you all well and may your house repairs be cheap.and lasting.

With you on that one chap. We got the flooring finished and made a start on repainting the hall/ stairs/ landing, but new bath, sinks, and either loo seats or new loos (might be cheaper, believe it or not) followed by a full clearance of the garage, installing the workshop I have been slowly collecting for the last 15 years, and building the £100 pizza oven I have been planning for the last two years…Zen9 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 01, 2023 12:12 pm Ah 2023......

Shanghai has decided it is time to downsize so we will be moving to a smaller place requiring less upkeep and with fewer stairs before spring 2023.
So I, being the ever optimistic (yah Right), suggested we build the that house of HER dreams on our plot on Ballast Point Dego. Instead WE decided to stay in this frozen hell hole New England Bluest of Blue states and worker's paradise Taxachusetts.
I don't mean to complain but how did I manage to piss HIM off so much that HE chooses to sentence me to this damn state?

Thank you! One thing the last 10 years have taught me. Regardless if it's a good deal time/cost or not, you MUST be ready to reload ammo. It's not a question of time/money, but availability.
