The difference between diplomacy and war is this: Diplomacy is the art of telling someone to go to hell so elegantly that they pack for the trip.
War is bringing hell down on that someone.

Even if work on the Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) isn’t sped up for the war, she’d still be ready by late 1986…

Former Texas Representative Kay Granger died within the last day or so. Do we want our characters to react to this? Or was she killed by the Soviets for being involved in politics?
