...I'm trying to find two short stories:
* 'D-Day' by Robert Trout (the famed CBS reporter). It's not about 6/6/44, but a much different D-Day.
* Unknown Title - A very, very well done story with a downright Serlingesque ending about the poor soul who's the caretaker at the mothballed sound stage where the Moon landings were staged.
My Google-fu here is weak, and I'd truly appreciate any help in finding these.

Ffs. I KNOW the second story, Mikey, but I’ll be damned if I can remember the name of it.

Re: An odd request...
Neither sound familiar, but https://www.byanyothernerd.com/2014/01/ ... trout.html says the first is in Alfred Hitchcock Presents Stories for Late at Night edited by Alfred Hitchcock and Robert Arthur
which you might be able to get here

or try abebooks.
Need more clues for the sound stage one

I remember you sharing the second one YEARS ago, but my Google-Fu is no better today.
