From here also Bernard.

It was never a thing in Oz when I was young, and now, despite Americanisation of much of Australian culture, it still is not more than rare, scattered and half hearted. The notion of trick or treating is generally an alien one outside of some better off parts of some of the capital cities, with the...

Getting questions/cloudflare type stuff from Navweaps(but only on the iPad) and Quadrant on-line now.

Captain Leveritt with a recommissioned big gun ship…..

Nice touch Bernard!

Nothing has changed here (Sydney) though we tend to lag the rest of the world in most things!

Happy 400th Bernard.

Good show all around!

I hate visiting the older hospitals and court buildings at the moment in full suit. Let alone when I have to wear my robes in court. The heat seems to just seep into those old buildings. Robes? Interesting. Even as a Court Registrar I wasn't robed, and of course I am not a barrister nor a magistrat...

I don't know who has heard of a German band called Electric Moon.

A great track for those who like this music plus some great historical footage.

The ABC does have that effect on me so I avoid it.

Then again as a near retirement lawyer I am saddened that young lawyers know no Latin.

I never expected those.

Oh dear, what sad news.

Shane was the only board member I have met, having spent time with him when he came up to Sydney on a couple of occasions.

A great bloke and a fascinating personality.

RIP buddy.

That all takes me back!

We played d & d when it first came out.

My first war game per se was Avalon Hill’s Trobruk.

Wargame Research Group’s army lists got me very interested in Heraclian Byzantium.

Time to root through the games cupboards.

Some nice live fire training for the Kiwis there. Besides, given recent events, they had to honour and eliminate the threat. I actually had a bit of a chuckle seeing the roundels on the Kiwi aircraft. If you recall Stuart’s CoI, the Russians were curious about the national symbols in the roundels wh...

I saw a doco on YouTube about Soviet aircraft cannon a while back that discussed that very thing. Quite interesting.

I watched that game live on TV. To say I was somewhat aghast is an understatement. I can well imagine that then current members of the Wallabies went pale thinking of what revenge might be taken the next time they played the All Blacks, remembering that back in those days all sorts of things went on...

I heard a song of hers some time ago. A bit country and western for me.

Bad Bunny? I am really not into any sort of rap etc.

I currently prefer Electric Moon type music.

The first response to him was quite amusing.

Scotland :o Through my father’s line I am a member (?) of the MacGregor diaspora. Not called MacGregor though. There was apparently some differences in opinion with other clans that lead us to be outlawed and had our name suppressed by order of the Parliament or some such. Not really cricket though,...

Just saw what you did at Navweaps!

Having too much fun!
